Congratulations to the winners of the 2008 Star Search competition - a competition looking for the brightest newcomers to the abstinence community!  This year's winners are: Molly Barnhart, Jonathan Butler and Heidy and Clara Ordoñez.  The three winners presented at a Breakout session at the conference.  If you are interested in contacting one of these Star Search winners, please call our office for thier contact information.


Molly Barnhart

For Molly, life is an adventure and she is convinced that it was meant to be lived that way. She is committed to helping others experience life to the fullest, and does so through her upbeat, hard hitting messages.  Molly tackles the message of abstinence and draws from four years of experience speaking and a life time of living out her message. She has spoken to thousands of teenagers in school assemblies, churches and camps across the country.  She would love to speak at your event and keep in mind, she has many other topics up her sleeve! From Christ-centered themes and foreign missions to entrepreneurship, she has become a favorite for all ages. She is a popular at youth camps and retreats and is passionate about encouraging and modeling a life of purity and character for girls and young women.

Jonathan Butler

Jonathan Butler, a University of Colorado graduate, is determined to change the world! His workshop on judgment and self-image has impacted youth from around the nation. He continues to encourage students, and adults, to accept who they are and who they are meant to be!

 

Heidy  Ordoñez

Friends First Quinceañera Coordinator. Heidy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with emphasis in International Business. Heidy’s goal is to change the world one person at the time by living by example providing guidance and leadership to youth. Heidy’s perseverance and goal driven has helped her achieve several awards in the business area as well as in the community. Heidy, at her twenty-seven years of age she remains virgin! She is a role model for our youth, as she has overcome many pressures and challenges. Her open-minded skills have helped her to work with many cultures across the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.

 

Clara Ordoñez

Clara graduated with honors from the Metropolitan State College of Denver, with a bachelors of Science degree on Human Services and is currently working on her Masters degree of Social Work from the University of Denver.  Throughout her life, Clara has helped many youth make better choices in life. Coming from a Hispanic family with strong values and beliefs, Clara has set high expectations for herself.  She STRONGLY believes in being abstinent until marriage, at her twenty-five years of age she remains virgin. Clara has ran many community and after school programs on which she promotes strong character, inner beauty, goal setting, family relationships, and abstinence. Clara’s passion is to keep helping youth and families through her inspiration.
